"Room smells so bad, like a mold (i think it was the bed). we couldn't but heater on because the smell was going stronger and we had to sleep all our clothes on. I've had a really bad allergy and headache after being in that room, so we had to leave that room after one night. we would not have stayed there, but it was new years eve and every other place was full booked.
I called the lady who showed us the room and told the problem, she was nice and polite, so i really hope they will do something...
"There is a very narrow staircase to second floor that was hard to take baggage up. Constant noise from within apparently and outside, every time you open Faust a loud noise appears, bed. Wry uncomfortable and not enough space on the second floor to even stand, you need to crawl to the bed extremely hot and when leave window open mosquitoes had party on my body. Both nights I did not sleep at all. One good thing was Santos station was walking distance to take to beaches. Oh another thing...

On a du réserver et donc payer un autre hébergement en dernière minute qui nous a coûté beaucoup plus cher.

This is a very small, unique boutique hotel very strange when you first go in lots of stairs, but the rooms are extremely comfortable. Bed is excellent shower and toilet work great and the option for breakfast is worth the €20 staff extremely friendly and helpful and the place has got a really cool vibe no parking, but maybe if the owner likes you you could use his spot.
We had an incredible stay! From the moment we checked in. The staff were so friendly, the complimentary drinks on arrival, the rooms are beautifully designed and the area is gorgeous!! They also have a beautiful rooftop deck and great cocktails. Try Goose restaurant just a 5 minute walk up the road. Felt like a locals experience ❤️

The Emerald House Lisbon is great! The hotel lobby is nice and the breakfast buffet has a lot of varieties. The room is spacious and the bed is super comfortable!
We stayed for 7 nights in the middle of December, 2009. My wife and I really enjoyed this place. The staff was very helpful and the breakfest buffet was something we looked forward to every morning, great American coffee and the pastries were so good! I thought this hotel was perfect for families! The bunk bed rooms are ideal and a great use of space for our family of 4. The kids thought it was really fun and we had plenty of room for all. We also loved the rooftop pool and bar space, especially after a long day of touring around. It’s very family friendly and convenient. The Palacio was a treat--really a gorgeous mix of historical and new--with fun touches in art and wallpaper! The staff was phenomenal--helpful and lovely as well. We felt very cared for.
