A joy to stay with Elena and her team. A cosy property with more of a guest house vibe than a full-service hotel experience - but all the more enjoyable for that. The castle has a great gastro-pub just a 3-minute walk away in the village. Lovely cooked breakfast in the hotel, Ideal for a short stopover or to explore the area. Perfectly quiet and easily accessible by car or taxi from Newcastle airport. If you want to escape the formality of modern travel and. slow down a bit... Otterburn...

This was an amazing stay close to Hadrian’s Wall. The hospitality was so amazing that I wished we could have stayed longer! From the warm homemade cherry pastry and offer of water on arrival to the incredible breakfast as we left, every need was taken care of. The room was comfy and clean and we were within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. And the ride to the station with all of our luggage was much appreciated. Incredible hosts!!
