We absolutely loved our stay at the White Hart and only wish it could have been longer! The building is full of history, very old but beautifully maintained. Parking was plentiful behind the establishment. We enjoyed a delicious meal and drink at the pub, and then retired to our clean and quiet room. Staff were all extremely kind and helpful; special thanks to Alex, Millie B, and Chaz. Breakfast featured lots of interesting options to choose from and was tasty. Would happily stay again!

Just awesome. Loved the rooms with the big windows, loved the hosts, awesome breakfast. Very helpful-for example we arrived early before our room was ready. They let us leave our luggage come in and out. Use the bathroom whatever we need until the room is ready.
Recently renovated, every aspect of the property and design choices are exceptional. The dinner menu creations were inventive and delicious.
However, our room No. 36 was without WiFi. (“Hotel WiFi not connected to internet.”) And you cannot adjust the room temperature using the thermostat.

I needed a place near the Saxon sites and Cathedral. And it didn't hurt that the Westgate was just a five minute walk from the rail station. It's an old place, and it had the feel of the ages in the floors and doors. But that was part of the overall experience for me. It had charm. The staff was very accommodating, and I had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Westgate. It was all good. And it was across the street from the medieval Westgate to the city as well. I would stay there again if ever...
The staff were amazing, helpful and very wonderful. My wife and I really enjoyed our time there. The room was great but the bed mattress is a bit old. We would definitely return.

The hotel is well managed and maintained. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were great. Room was also excellent. The surrounding area currently has construction work, but that will no doubt end soon. There are limited dining options in the area and no shopping options. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.
The staff were especially helpful, Bruce, Tracy, Daisy and Evie. Central location in Hungerford was very convenient for us. Very easy to train to London.
Very charming hotel near Jane Austen home. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Restaurant had typical English food that was delicious. Room was clean and comfortable
What a pleasure it was to stay at this hotel.. so many nice treatments and fitness things to do including a lovely pool with steam room and sauna. Rooms roomy and bed was huge. Breakfast was nice and a good assortment. Will be staying there again soon and for more than one night...
