3 Star Hotels in Soweto

It was clean, staff was pleasant. I felt comfortable and at home there. Being in Soweto I was able to go to some of the attractions multiple times. It was near Gold Reaf casino and amusement park and using the Hop On Hop off buses I found it easy to get into Johannesburg and the northern suburbs when incorporating Gautrain.

This is a wonderful oasis. My room was in a small guesthouse on the premises, with a large and beautiful bedroom and full bath. There were even teas and and container of biscotti for late night snacks. The rooms faced a goldfish pond, so that I woke every morning to birdsong. Linda the manager and Andre the host were gracious and helpful, particularly to someone new to Joburg. I highly recommend this guest house, particularly for travelers coming from afar like me. My sister and I traveled to Joberg to visit a friend who had stayed here on a visit and has since moved to this lovely location of the world. The security at this property is top notch. Every vehicle entering the gate is scanned and intent is verified. The reception at our arrival was so genuinely warm and professional. Busisiwe and Foreman made us feel welcome and special. Do yourself a favour and stay here if you are in Joberg. Before I flew to South Africa i considered a number of options before settling on this one. When driving through the slum areas i saw a couple of guesthouses.... beautiful little places but surrounded by shacks and questionable characters... be careful. The family running this place is nice and helpful. Someone came by daily to clean. There was a shopping center 5 minutes away for all needs. It was a great location to get to all attractions quickly via uber.

Had a great stay at the Capital on Bath - was there for about a week for a business trip. It is within walking distance of Rosebank Mall where you can get anything you need - I took advantage of the Woolworth's and the small kitchen in my room to prepare a few of my own meals, but the mall also has great eating options. We enjoyed the spacious room and huge tub. The breakfast was always delicious and the location was close to many restaurants and bars. The owners and staff were very accommodating and helpful. We will stay there again when we are in Johannesburg.
