This is a lovely quinta in a gorgeous setting. The hotel receptionist/waitress was extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. The room was big and comfortable.

This is an amazing place for those who wish to explore the north coast of Madeira and stay in a very comfortable, quiet setting. The service and attentiveness of the staff here is top notch, and you can have all the privacy that you desire. Excellent property! The hotel is in a beautiful, quiet village surrounded by amazing views. Feels like you’re in Santorini! Staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions. The hotel has pricing for affordable rentals cars, much cheaper than what we paid. Definitely worth staying at if you want to be away from the city.

The hotel is situated in the country, near tall trees and grape vines, convenient to hiking in that part of Madeira. The views were lovely. The staff were helpful and friendly. For the 3 of us, the room was a bit crowded, but okay.

Beautiful hotel with the prettiest view, freshest breakfast and most helpful and kind staff! Everything about our stay was a 10/10 :)

Right in a middle of the town. Clean room, beautiful view, excellent buffer breakfast. Nice indoor pool with jacuzzi and sauna. A very helpful and attentive staff. Very close to natural pools. I would recommend this stay to all the tourists.

The staff was amazing, and so responsive to any question I had or anything that I needed. I loved the property. It was beautiful with stunning views of the water and the natural pools. Every room is ocean front in the views were amazing my favorite part of the trip was the incredible breakfast Buffet each morning, the amount type and quality of food that was served was unmatched. This was my second time staying at Cliff bay and it was even more exceptional than the first. The have very low employee turnover so you are remembered which was very nice:-) The food is world class and the accommodations were amazing, I am already planning my next visit!!!

It was lovely fine days full of comfort from the always helpful stuff, gorgeous garden to walk and relax in, and a marvelous cliff overlooking the marina and sea of Funchal. The balcony/terrace was south oriented - full of flowers in pots, with a sunshade, table and chairs - lovely place to take a glass in the evening. The only small minus was a bit of possible noise from neighbour's room, but that wasn't a problem, rather just a notice.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, and the breakfast was a wonderful way to start each morning. The views were truly incredible and were easily one of the highlights of our stay.
