" The property was great .Should note that there was construction in front of it due to work being done on the canal. Also need to walk over a small bridge to access the area so if one has a lot of luggage there is a way to hire someone with a cart to transport the luggage from the train station to the hotel which is close by. There is a great seafood restaurant next to the hotel which is very popular. I would recommend getting a reservation when you arrive.. "

"It was very close to several bars, trattoria, and restaurants on Cannaregio. The hotel (we had an interior room) is quite quiet, despite the convenience. You're a 10-minute walk from the train station & only cross 1 bridge. The hotel is conveniently located to the old Jewish Quarter. There are 2 vaparetto stops between 5 and 7 minutes away. You are a 20 to 25-minute walk from Piazza San Marcos. The room we had was pretty large with high ceilings - and painted ceilings. The bed was comfortable....

"Hotel L'Orologio is a beautifully maintained hotel in a perfect location (about 5-10 minute walk from Rialto and about a 20 minute walk from San Marco). The private water taxis will drop you off here for about 60-80 euros from San Lucia train station. The room came equipped with a sizeable amount of closet space, a very comfortable bed, and a luxury bathroom. Also, this hotel's front staff actually made me feel welcomed and helped with my questions/concerns (not common in other hotels in Italy...
