The innkeepers, Jane and John were wonderful, friendly, and all one could want. The room and building were also immaculate, and nicely kept. A fan in the third floor room would have been nice, as it is not air conditioned. I suspect they rarely need air conditioning. But I did not think to ask until it was the middle of the night, and too warm. So not entirely their fault. The view was spectacular, and breakfast also first rate.

The Anchor Inn has a great location and the rooms and amenities do the job but are nothing special. My room space was tight, although the bed was comfortable and the shower performed adequately. The included cooked breakfast option is plentiful, freshly prepared and tasty. There's a good dinner menu in the bar and, again, the food seems freshly prepared.
