Lovely hotel, dog friendly, handy having a fan thankyou. Food above average at the moment. Lovely centrally situated hotel, very convenient for coast or broads. Only negative i would say was not being able to walk down the river you are next too, which is a pity but not necessarily the hotels fault.
This is a fantastic place to stay for a few days, or just one night as we did. We stayed here because our flight left at 6am from NWI. It's less than a 10 minute drive from the airport. Also the in-house restaurant was very nice, with a great selection of starters and entrees. It's very close to grocery stores, as well as downtown Norwich. But far enough away to enjoy the window open without city noise.

I absolutely loved the Decoy Barn and John and Suzanne were so kind and welcoming! Breakfast was delicious and so beautifully prepared. There were lots of options to choose from. There are many interesting places to visit in the area! I can’t wait to go back! Their little dog Buddy is very friendly and loves to chase his ball. Lovely old style hotel in a great location. The staff are friendly and helpful with advice to explore the city. We had a basic double room with a large bathroom. The toiletries were lovely a very comfortable bed. Would like to upgrade next time. We didn’t have the breakfast. But the special treat was a tour of the city in a vintage Bentley with Jim the tour guide and driver. He was so informative and friendly. Didn’t want it to end. It was complimentary and such a bonus. Although we were unable to secure an accessibke room for my Mother, the staff were wonderful in accommodating us and were helpful and friendly. Great location, close to the beach an attractions. On street parking was a challenge but only because there are fireworks on Wednesdays during the summer.
