Excellent location in the beautiful town of Monsaraz. The room was clean and spacious, well stocked and a great balcony terrace overseeing the vast plains below where we watched an amazing sunset. Many restaurants walking distance. Carlos greeted us and was very helpful helping us to out room. The property outside patio was lovely with a small pool overseeing the same view as from our balcony.
Everything for this visit was better than advertised.
It is in an old Convent, but they have redone everything and the rooms are very modern, but you can walk the whole building and see several hundred years of history. Anna is super helpful and makes sure everything is perfect. One of the most peaceful and inspiring places we have ever visited.

An amazing hotel nestled in the gorgeous area of Monsaraz. Best beds in all of Portugal! Rooms are thoughtfully outfitted, great bathroom, a fridge, and lovely views!
If you like the idea of staying in a thoughtfully reimagined old Inn Casa Pinto should be on your list. All of the rooms are individually decorated and fitted with stone walls in the bathrooms and showers. There's a nice breakfast room inside and a small garden breakfast area for summer.
It was nice to have close access to the restaurants and shops right outside the door.
Hotel de moura was a very nice surprize. As soon as you arrive there was wonderful reception staff offering maps and suggestions for activities and restaurants. Carla was very kind and informative.
It was extremely hot when we arrived so we took advantage of the pool in the orange grove. The room was very large and clean with nice french windows. The whole building is stately and interesting. Beautiful ceilings and lovely courtyard. Nice bar lounge where we bought a 5€ bottle of great wine and...
The place had AC, overlooks the old castle, had a good breakfast, and is calm and cool at night. The owners were willing to help with any of our needs. The town is small and quiet so it was a relaxing stay. Overall very nice place!
