"Food was varied and plenty at every meal. The staff is kind and goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need.the views and the balcony are spectacular. The only negatives: beaches are tiny and very rocky. Sea is crystal clear and refreshing but you have to walk down hills and mountains to reach the beaches and it can be challenging for small children or older people. Beaches are public and you have to pay 10 euros for a bed. In the hotel, Ac is perfect. However, you cannot put toilet paper in the toilet which was super inconvenient and unsanitary. The rooms are carved into the mountain which creates a romantic atmosphere but after a week up and down stairs and narrow passages, I do not mind leaving. Overall, it was a nice stay but would not come back."

Check in was a breeze & he provided lots of good information for touring around including how far away (time wise) places were As a Canadian travelling overseas best purchase was a multi plug power bar (EU style) & then able to plug a converter into that - outlets were higher up on the wall & less weight balancing on the plug in."

"Can’t say enough good things about this place. This family run facility is amazing! Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The views were spectacular from our room and the restaurant served really great food. We loved the pool, restaurant and mini-market. The hotel is located 30 minutes northeast of Heraklion so it keeps you away from the busy city. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway at an outstanding value, this is an ideal choice! It’s around 1.6 km to the beach which they offer a daily shuttle service to or you can walk/hike down. Another km beyond is Agia Pelagia beach which has more shopping options. We had a car so we could drive part way down and park away from the crowds."

"We had amazing room with private pool view to the sea it was heaven room number 614 !!! This hotel has amazing location and fantastic view all over, only 25 min from airport, great service and staff, pools for adullts only and pools with the kids, SPA, inside pool, tennis court, be ready to walk in the resort/or you call the reception adn they come in a minute to pick you up since its very large and on top on the hill. Fantastic Stay!!! Thank YOU!!!"

"The rooms were spacious. The owner was attentive and responsive. The kitchen had enough to make a simple meal. The WIFI was acceptable. The courtyard was nice. A 5 minute walk to restaurants and the beach. A really cute small town feel."
