The hotel, which is only a few weeks old, and which is owned by the same people who own Sol E Luna nearby, is a classy, first rate property, right on the beach in Grand Case, with a staff that couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. All nine rooms have balconies with full ocean views. The design and styling are very contemporary and absolutely perfect. And, oh, the dining scene in Grand Case can't be beat!

This is the perfect place to have an ocean view room that is beautifully done. The hotel doesn’t offer a ton of amenities, but it’s in a great location on a beautiful beach. Come here to enjoy time with a partner, have access to beach restaurants and activities and rent a car to explore the island. Our concierge, Junior, was amazing and saved us by getting our passports to us after we had already arrived to the airport!

We spent 4 nights at La Hibiscus. Really enjoyed everything about it. Florian gave us a free upgrade to the Jasmine suite. Large, comfortable bed, great shower and bathroom. Great terrace for sunning and looking at the mountains. We had the pool to ourselves which we loved. Very hands off approach by management which meant great privacy which we like. Only 5 minutes to Orient Beach….great choice of restaurants including a couple of breakfast places. Will definitely come back. FYI….renting a car...

We had a great stay at GCBC. Beach was small, but we never had trouble finding chairs, pool was just redone and was beautiful. Restaurant was decent enough for breakfast and lunch but we went into Grand Case (a .5 mile walk) for dinner most nights. All the staff was excellent. We stayed in a loft studio and even though I enjoyed the loft, I'm not sure I would choose that room type again as the AC didn't reach the loft very well.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel L'Esplanade for a week! And it was out first time here on the French side and we enjoyed it a lot. Very comfortable and spacious accommodations with large bedroom, bathroom and Living/dining room with the full kitchen if you decide to ignore all of the restaurants nearby and decide to make a meal yourself. Super unique property, far enough away from big touristy areas. Mike and Fawnette was amazing hosts and catered to every need. Beach front with chairs for quests, quiet beach and great hosts- will stay here again!!

Wonderful, intimate spa like in. Modern rooms, excellent wifi, comfortable bed. If you choose, we used kitchen for our meals, but the food was very good at the poolside bar restaurant. A car is recommended as it's quite hilly. This area has great restaurants and beaches close by, and a nice taste of French culture. Peggy is a wonderful hostess. A great escape!

The property suit my needs. Everyone there were pretty nice. Yosef was very professional, very help and knowledgeable with a very nice attitude. I will definitely come back because of the reasonable pricing and the convenience to Philipsburg. Thanks Yosef for a job well done.

The honesty of staff, I left my safe unlocked and our housekeeper reported it to security. They came in and secured our valuables and assigned a new code. Which was then retrieved directly from security. The overall attentiveness of staff at front desk was also great for a speedy check in.

Too many details to mention from the private jacuzzi to concierge services provided by Pauline. Beautiful interiors, comfortable beds. Gated neighborhood 5 minutes on foot to Orient Bay beaches and restaurants. Good old fashioned bed and breakfast atmosphere. Oh!! The amazing, not-to-miss breakfast! Highly recommended.

We rented a two bedroom unit (really two one bedroom units connected by a short hallway) with our 21 year-old triplets. It was a perfect setup for us. My wife and I took one unit, and our kids took the other. The resort is in a very convenient location- also very well-maintained. There are a number of restaurants and bars within walking distance, which our kids really liked because they could go out without waiting for us to drive them somewhere. This is a hidden gem c!ose to the airport. Jules is #1 on pre-arrival communication, friendliness, and helpfulness when you arrive. I wish we had time to stay there longer; definitely will next trip.

We took a trip as a family to celebrate three college graduations and an engagement. Due to the dates we could each go, we ended up needing to book it as three separate studios all on the lower level. After booking it as separate vacations on Expedia, I wrote to the hotel to see if they could make the rooms near each other. We stayed for 5 nights and loved the hotel but what made the stay so special was the quality of the service from Marion Idalia and the entire staff They were amazing so helpful and knowledgeable about the island. We felt as if we were staying with family. The hotel is charming as well with large rooms that include a large outdoor patio

A relaxed stay with a great staff right at the beach

The property is well maintained. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The only restaurant/bar at the facility is opened for all 3 meals at a specific time but the bar is always open. You can get a good dinner for a rational price. Breakfast was pretty good not included.

This property was beautiful. Had a great time. Just be aware that there is a free shuttle into town that is not ran by the resort but by a jewelry store. When they get you into town they take you directly to the store. Try and sell you things. Before you can leave for your shopping in town.

Great staff! Had trouble with our rental car company and staff arranged to have different company drop car at hotel for us, such a breeze!
