This property is amazing, Our spacious rooms were above the stables, no elevator. We could hear the horses neighing on occasion and hear them being walked by at different times of the day. We all said we could live here. The grounds are pristine. The breakfast (15eu pp) was fabulous. Unfortunately, the restaurant for lunch and dinners was closed on Mon/Tuesdays. We would stay here over and over. Only 25-20 min to Zurich airport. 15 min to Rheinfalls.
For someone that came to visit from out of town, it was so convenient having the train station nearby. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is friendly, they have everything you need. We recently stayed at this hotel for 6 nights on vacation. Although not in central Zurich, it was easily accessible (about 20 minutes) by train. In fact, we used the trains as our mode of transportation mostly and this hotel is just across the street in perfect location. There are many restaurants and shopping nearby within 3 to 5 minutes walk, as well as a small local grocery next door.
