The Marmalade Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The Marmelade Hotel was a pleasure start to finish during our three-night stay. We were greeted by very helpful, friendly staff, and made to feel welcome straight away. The hotel is in pristine condition, first class. Our room was spacious, all new carpet, comfortable king bed, and modern bathroom…terrace door opening out onto the garden. Beautiful. The onsite restaurant is excellent, attentive service, and our meals and breakfasts were exemplary. Marmelade’s location is extremely quiet and calm. There is ample parking on site, including charging stations for E-cars (though they were not working the day we were there.). The hotel location made for a perfect jumping-off point to explore Skye. We would love to return, and recommend The Marmelade without reservation."
Atholl House Skye
10/10 Excellent
"Atholl House was great for ourcrecent stay on the Isle of Skye. Initially I was disappointed we could not find a room in Portree but after visiting Atholl House I actually preferred it. There are several hood restaurants nearby, a beautiful view. Close to certain things we wantedvto explore. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and the person serving was very friendly and helpful. As with many of the places we stayed there was rarely anyone at the front desk, so no-one to ask questions of. That was really the only downside"
Bracken Hide Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel is very cool, nice rooms, great food/bar!"
The Skye Inn
10/10 Excellent
"We loved our stay at Skye Inn! The staff was so kind and helpful. Rooms were quaint and quiet. The included sit down breakfast was amazing with a full menu including Scottish specialties. The hotel is a quick walk to town. We highly recommend!"
The Bosville
10/10 Excellent
"My husband and I stayed here for two nights as a part of our honeymoon, and it was absolutely beautiful! The location was stunning, and we loved being able to explore the surrounding area. The scenery alone made this stay memorable, you can see the famous colourful houses along the water front. One thing to keep in mind is that the street can be quite busy with vehicle traffic, so be cautious when walking around. Parking was a bit of a hassle, as there is no dedicated hotel parking. You can park along the road or use nearby public car parks, but it's something worth considering when planning your stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and the beautiful location made it well worth the stay!"

Tongadale Hotel

"Considering the limited places available it was small but clean and more than efficient for a one night stay"
The Flodigarry Hotel in the Skye
10/10 Excellent
"The staff at this property were the absolute best and so kind and attentive. Leon was incredibly kind and helpful and all the wait staff and room service staff were awesome. I felt cared for and welcome and my stay as a woman traveling alone was the best I could have hoped for. I definitely recommend this breathtaking property and will be back! PS: make sure to experience the sauna!"
