"Our room had everything we needed - it may have been a bit dated in its decoration but was good value and had a fantastic view of Isola Bella and the beach. The walk up and down the stairs to Taormina is worth it for the incredible views - but for those unable to do that, a funicular is nearby. "
"Room was clean, air contidioning worked good. Employees were very friendly. It is next to the beach Isola Bella was is the best part because like that you do not need to go back to the center. Lovely place."
"Great view and location outside of busy taormina, but quick trip up to the beautiful citycenter and restaurants. Pool was amazing and was 5 minute walk to isola Bella, rocky but clear and great snorkeling. Parking was easy at hotel and located close to highway for day trips."
"Excellent location with convenient onsite parking and a short walk to lidos and the Taormina cable car. We especially appreciated the terrace with sea views. Would recommend as a great quiet alternative to Taormina crowds while still being very close to Taormina main town."
"It was too many high steps to walk for
elderly people. I am 78 and had a really hard time to walk there. My feet were swallowed. Better for young and athletic people."
"Very clean, comfortable room. Not fancy, but nice. The private beach is lovely and the staff there is quite helpful.
Staff at the hotel is wonderful. Venencia (spelling?) took us directly to our rooms and was on hand for all our needs. Everyone was ready to assist us as needed.
They serve a really nice breakfast, too. The hosts brought us fabulous Americano coffees and provided a buffet breakfast that included wonderful eggs & bacon, plus fresh fruit & a variety of rolls. Each morning they...
"The location and beach are definitely a plus! Staff is extremely friendly and willing to help. The dining ,either breakfast or dinner is top notch. We would definitely stay here again if we teturn to Taormina. "
"Incredibly beautiful location and saltwater pool. We had a premium ocean view room with a spectacular view of the ocean. Breakfast terrace and restaurant both provide spectacular views of Naxos Bay with Mount Etna as a backdrop. Would come back and stay here any time"

My husband Robert and I loved this quaint hotel with delicious food, top rated local wines, beautiful suites, and the best ever professional and friendly staff. We hated that we could not stay longer where we felt so at home! Especially the kind and friendly staff were memorable:Dahlia briefed us on the Villa and all it and the town had to offer, including a great map; Manuel made the best Italian cocktails and really selected fantastic local wines; Anna's English was spectacular as she served...
Omg. We just checked out. We miss it already. Our entire stay from start to finish was incredible. The staff made us feel like family. David the concierge made each day so special for us. What a memorable stay he created for us. Alesia at the front desk is so lovely. From the second we made eye contact she greeted us and checked in with us every day. As a hotel General Manager this hotel is 5 stars in every way. Your housekeepers have been trained so well. Cannot say enough about our stay. Thank...
Our stay at Villa Sant'Andrea was superb in every way. From our reception by the friendly and well-informed staff to the dining options and facilities, we couldn't have asked for a more complete and luxurious experience in Taormina. Five stars and two thumbs up for this property!
Everything we expect and more.. wonderful staff they went above and beyond to make our experience memorable..
Hotel location beautiful service top notch.
Directly across from Mazzaro beach (stairway down not for elderly or disabled). Beautiful views l believe from every room...l would check. Our front desk host, Sandro, took care of us in so many ways. Easy walk to tramway that takes you to Taormina. Superb breakfast ( one day croissants a little incinerated, but it is Sicily) Lovely rooftop pool, nice landscaping and plants everywhere.plenty of places to eat , drink and buy sundries. Might be considered a little dangerous to walk near...
The Jonic Hotel Mazzarò is right across the road from the walkway down to a private cove beach. It’s 15 euros for the day for 2 including lounge chairs and umbrella. There is a free beach at the end of the cove where you can still dip your toes in the crystal clear Mediterranean Sea should you choose not to want to pay. Most of the rooms have a terrace overlooking the sea for under $100 in May. There is a lift and air conditioning in each room. The free breakfast can be taken back to be enjoyed...
Excellent location with convenient onsite parking and a short walk to lidos and the Taormina cable car. We especially appreciated the terrace with sea views. Would recommend as a great quiet alternative to Taormina crowds while still being very close to Taormina main town.
This is my second time staying here! Which for the price... the hotel is excellent.
The rooms are kept immaculate, the hotel staff is friendly, and the location/view- AWESOME!
I highly recommend this hotel!
We booked a room in the Rock annex. It was an entire, fully equipped apartment. The Rock annex is located across the street and down about one block from the main hotel. To be honest, other than doing the initial checkin and a walk around, we never went to the main hotel building. The pool is located there and there is a small bar. However, we were not in Taormina to sit by the pool, so it was of little interest to us. The apartment was wonderful! Quiet. Accessible to everything. Best, I was...
We had the most lovely stay at Antico Borgo Etneo. Conveniently located 5 minutes from the train station, the property is gorgeous, our room was very clean and relatively cool considering we were in the middle of a heat wave. Great hospitality and a scrumptious breakfast (we’ll be thinking about that lemon chiffon cake for ages). We would stay again the next time in Calatabiano. Grazie a tutti!
The breakfasts were amazing! So many choices to choose from. The location is convenient to other attractions and shopping but far enough away for peace and quiet.
Property and room were clean and well maintained. Breakfast buffet and staff were excellent.
Only problem was banging noises late at night from the room above. Also, stairs at entrance can be a problem for handicapped people.
Thank you.
The hotel is ideally located at the far end of the Giardini Naxos Beachfront. About 15 minutes walk from the Station. The Bus Stop for buses to Taormina, and from Catania Airport is opposite the hotel. There are plenty of Restaurants and Bars close-by along the seafront, within 5-15 minutes walk. Our room had a small balcony which looked directly out to sea.
The Hotel staff were all very helpful, both on Reception, and in the Dining Room.
Breakfasts were the usual buffet style with savoury and...
This hotel is beautiful and staff was amazing. I had lost my important medication on the plane and the receptionist called multiple pharmacies to assist and I was able to get it the next day. The pool is beautiful and the food was delicious. Our room was beautiful as well. I can’t praise the staff enough, I wish I wrote their names down. The pizzeria two minute walk away was delicious as well. We will definitely be back!
