Excellent way to enjoy extended stay and visit Mpunt Aetna

The staff at Casa Giafari are beyond excellent! They met us at the base of the stairs and helped bring our bags up to our rooms. Very accommodating and kind people. They helped us organize taxis and called to reserve for us when asked. The property is very central to everything in Taormina. The room was very tidy and clean, one of the more comfortable stays in Sicily. Bathrooms spacious and beds feel luxurious. Will stay again!!

Clean, quiet room surrounded by orange, lemon and lime trees. Great breakfast Close to town Try the "Steak House" for authentic Sicilian cuisine.

It would be difficult to overstate just how wonderful this place is. The rooms are clean and relatively spacious, the breakfast is wonderful, the owner is absolutely phenomenal (he even assisted me with gassing up my car before we left!), and the pool is absolutely magnificent…I’ve never seen a nicer pool outside of a resort!

Not such a good view from my room To close to the stairs Lot of traffic

Beautiful surroundings, lovely pool. Convenient to drive to explore the Etna region.

Beautiful views and very responsive staff. The only thing we did not like was leaving to return home.

It was a wonderful experience. The room was with magnificent view.

The staff was wonderful. They even met us at the square and navigated our car up into their parking area. They just went over and above doing anything they could for us! The cottage was roomy, decorated nicely and super clean. The staff brought us anything we needed and even let me know when the spa was ready after it went down for 15 minutes. The views from the cottage were superb- from the terraces all the way out to the sea, and the garden with it's citrus and vegetables draped everywhere....

An amazing facility. The staff was attentive and caring without be overbearing. The food is delicious and the location is super. Our room was of adequate size and the amenities were wonderful. They had a secure location for our bicycles which is appreciated. Only minor glitch was that the hot tub is a bit cool for my preference. Not a big deal at all. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Enormous deck overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. Room is clean, modern, with enormous windows to capture sky and sea. Hosts Giovanna and Francesco are welcoming, willing to allow dog-loving guests to socialize with their amiable Boxer, Bart. Owners on premises, and available. Only five units in this lovely home pitched cliffside. Walk to town is close, but involves stone steps up the hillside.Parking on premises makes coming and going easy, so best to drive to Taormina in my 74-year-old opinion....

Palazzo Vecchio Taormina is an amazing hotel! It is a Palazzo that has been wonderfully and tastefully renovated. My room had an incredible view of the sea and the bells from an old church nearby. Waking up and looking out of the window and facing the morning light was unforgettable. I have stayed in many top hotels around the world- besides the above, what distinguishes this hotel is the people working there- the staff at the restaurant (Armando, Vincenzo) are outstanding. The staff at...

The 24/7 concierge was amazing! The staff were really helpful and answered any questions you had and were happy to book reservations to make your day trips as pleasant as possible. The complimentary breakfast every morning was fresh, hearty, and delicious - mad world to order eggs/omelets and coffee!

Beautiful boutique hotel in a middle of nowhere

Omg. We just checked out. We miss it already. Our entire stay from start to finish was incredible. The staff made us feel like family. David the concierge made each day so special for us. What a memorable stay he created for us. Alesia at the front desk is so lovely. From the second we made eye contact she greeted us and checked in with us every day. As a hotel General Manager this hotel is 5 stars in every way. Your housekeepers have been trained so well. Cannot say enough about our stay. Thank...

Everything we expect and more.. wonderful staff they went above and beyond to make our experience memorable.. Hotel location beautiful service top notch.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. The staff were great. The location was perfect such that we were able to drop off our rental car at the hotel and then be right at the edge of all the pedestrian only streets. Beautiful facility, including breakfast on the terrace each morning and dinner at the beautiful bistro area.

We booked a room in the Rock annex. It was an entire, fully equipped apartment. The Rock annex is located across the street and down about one block from the main hotel. To be honest, other than doing the initial checkin and a walk around, we never went to the main hotel building. The pool is located there and there is a small bar. However, we were not in Taormina to sit by the pool, so it was of little interest to us. The apartment was wonderful! Quiet. Accessible to everything. Best, I was...

This hotel is an excellent base for exploring Taormina. It's inside the walls, near shops and restaurants (although on the opposite side of town from the Roman amphitheater). The service was excellent and friendly. The breakfasts, served on a rooftop with a commanding view, were outstanding - pretty much anything you might want, including eggs cooked to order. Caution: you can't pull your car up to the hotel, which is in a pedestrian-only area. You park in a multi-story garage, take the elevator...

We had a great time there location of the property was excellent.
