Stayed in the hotel section after a very long international flight so it was nice to be near the airport. Enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds and enjoyed a sunset view from the back of property. Had a nice dinner at the Palomino. Breakfast was included with our rate and was a nice introduction to a typical Scottish breakfast. All the staff were friendly. Free parking was nice to have too. There was no AC ventilation in our room but a portable fan and window could be angled out. We have...

The best thing about this hotel is really the proximity to the airport. It is a lovely hotel- rooms are great, not much noise and decent size. But it is amazing that you can just walk across the street to the airport without worrying about any transportation or delays. I had an early morning flight and stayed the night before. I was able to get breakfast quickly at the hotel before casually walking over to catch my flight. Awesome!

Of all the places we stayed during our 10 days in Scotland the Sherbrooke was the absolute best. (And we stayed in a few rather nice places, including the Scotsman in Edinburgh) Every member of the staff was beyond polite, friendly and accommodating. They could not do enough to help us feel both welcome and comfortable. In addition, the evening was gorgeous and our photos of the grounds and sunset were exquisite. What a way to end a trip at such a marvelous establishment.
