We only spent one night here but our stay was quite nice and would come back! Gordon and Michelle were very welcoming. we stayed here primarily for the location, within two miles of Cad West, a primary viewing location to photograph low-flying fighter jets. We enjoyed the setting, facilities and country charm. Our room was well appointed and roomy, so was the bathroom. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious - both dinner and breakfast. Interned was only available in the bar area, but we...
This is a GEM of a B&B! It’s tucked away in the foothills of the Snowdonia Mountains, and is an absolute slice of heaven. The mansion is truly beautiful, and has been renovated with an eye for design and careful respect of its past. The antique furnishings were so perfectly chosen for each room, and the bathrooms were modern and classy. Our two rooms were both very generously sized, and both had rooftop patios overlooking the mountains in the distance. Breakfast was divine - fine dining in...
The actual hotel was lovely particularly if you are looking for a certain vibe. It was a well renovated country house that was a delight to stay at.
The main issue is that the location is not near anything and feels a bit remote. The grounds could use a little attention as well, but this is of lesser importance.
The family who operate the hotel are invested and are a delight
Nice property. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed the one night we stayed but the morning breakfast was good.
At base of hill where harlech castle sits. Good exercise!
Would recommend.
The property itself is a destination. Great views great proximity to area attractions. Units are large and very spacious. We loved the experience would go back 100%.
