Great place to wind down and enjoy the views of the mountains and the water. Our room was amazing, in traditional Japanese style, beds were comfortable. Highly recommend for at least one night.
Easily one of the best hotels I've every stayed at. The staff is courteous, helpful, and very professional. Despite its age, the hotel does not feel old or worn out - I was pleasantly surprised by how well maintained, clean, and neat everything was. The rooms were generously spacious, offered an amazing view of Mt. Fuji in the early morning, and a wonderful view of the bay at night. We stayed for 3 nights. Even before checking in we messaged the hotel to schedule dinner and massage services, which we received detailed responses within a day. There is plenty of parking and we were greeted immediately. We were able to reserve the private onsen every day. The hotel staff were always so friendly and helpful. Their English was very good and if there was something difficult to say, we were able to use a translator app.
Food was amazing and well rounded. Breakfast was different...
Absolutely amazing and the food is SO GOOD. The hot spring baths are so wonderful that my skin was glowing. Staff went above and beyond in true Japanese fashion, and was patient with me when I spoke English. Absolutely recommend and the view is STUNNING!!
