"Hotel is in desperate need of upgrade on all aspects. It is like a museum piece.. Evening meal was ok.. breakfast not so good... poor selection., cooked was luke warm at best.. unless you are looking for a real budget place - avoid..."

"Host was extremely rude. We were trying to enter the building with provided code and the door would not open. We called for assistance and she yelled at us that we were not pushing the door. No offense but one should not have to use your shoulder with force to open a door. Bathroom was covered in mold, hallway & room has strong chemical odor, pillows were of questionable quality & cleanliness. Upon leaving we were greeted by the host and she felt compelled to show us how “easy” it was to open the main door. You could clearly tell the door has had issues in the past since the door frame was cracked the the lock."

"The lodge was very clean, well kept, and modern. Had all the facilities you would need for a short stay. Although it was just off a main road, there was plenty private parking just outside the lodge and the road was barely noticeable. The farm shop located across the grounds was lovely, and well worth a browse. The cafe in the farm shop was excellent, best breakfast I’ve had in a long time and reasonably priced. Staff were pleasant, helpful, and professional. "

Evening meal and breakfast really good, cleanliness really good throughout, bedroom comfortable, shower brilliant, wifi great, pleanty of space to work and lots of parking. Really good facility."
