This was our first time in South Africa and our very first safari experience. We received a warm welcome from the very hospitable staff at Moditlo Lodge. They make you feel special. The food is great, you get 3 different choices at every meal. The "games" or safaris are twice a day and the rangers are very professionals. The Spa is marvelous and accommodating to people itineraries. Over all, an extraordinary experience.
We stayed at the suite and were delighted with the accommodations. The game drives were insanely interesting and the guides were top notch! Although it is a closed reserve, it is big enough to get a real sense of being in the wild, and you are almost guaranteed to see the big 5 (minus the leopard if you're not lucky, we were!) The animals almost don't notice you and behave naturally, a truly amazing experience!

What a beautiful experience this was. I was blown away with the hospitality and service this lodge provided. The staff are incredible and make you feel at home. They go above and beyond. Tintswalo, Erasmus, Faith, Collins and Nicco were a few to mention. The game drives were sensational . This will remain a core memory for years to come. Can’t wait to visit again.
