What a beautiful experience this was. I was blown away with the hospitality and service this lodge provided. The staff are incredible and make you feel at home. They go above and beyond. Tintswalo, Erasmus, Faith, Collins and Nicco were a few to mention. The game drives were sensational . This will remain a core memory for years to come. Can’t wait to visit again.
We were only there for one night but loved the cottage. It was like a home away from home. The staff was very helpful in helping us maximize our time in the area.
The lodge is tucked back in a quiet part of the estate, and the owner is a very, very kind woman. When I come back to Hoedspruit, I’ll stay here again!
What a special place! One cool newer addition is an observation platform so you can watch the sun set and scan for leopards! The camp is so peaceful and comfortable and meals were exceptional! Speaking of meal, our first few moments of a morning game drive we found a leopard in a tree eating breakfast with hyena underneath waiting for scraps. Everything about this place and the people who work here was wonderful!
Absolutely amazing, only stayed one night whilst visiting family and the staff and family are lovely. Food is amazing and plenty of it. Had a hyena and a giraffe outside our rooms during the night!
They make you feel special. The food is great, you get 3 different choices at every meal. The "games" or safaris are twice a day and the rangers are very professionals. The Spa is marvelous and accommodating to people itineraries. Over all, an extraordinary experience.

Kapama Karula exceeded our expectations in a significant way! The photos online do not do justice to the beautiful rooms, common areas and safari experience. My husband and I stayed there last week for our honeymoon and were truly amazed at the quality of service, the cleanliness and especially the food. The food quality was 5 star + and we were very impressed with the range of choices for the meals. Aside from the accommodations, the safari drives were fantastic. We always had the same ranger...
We stayed at the suite and were delighted with the accommodations. The game drives were insanely interesting and the guides were top notch! Although it is a closed reserve, it is big enough to get a real sense of being in the wild, and you are almost guaranteed to see the big 5 (minus the leopard if you're not lucky, we were!) The animals almost don't notice you and behave naturally, a truly amazing experience!
