"Don't let the non-Western name fool you. This is a very nice US style hotel. Clean rooms, large closets for clothes. Bed is super comfortable with deliciously large pillows and clean sheets. Staff (made up of foreigners) are extremely helpful. Nothing to complain about my stay here. Just hope they don't raise rates based on my review! Only issue is perhaps the location. Culture shock for some - as you aren't in the 'nicest' section of Doha; but Metro is very close by and the metro here...

"It is a good place to stay for the night when you’re traveling the following morning we had to stay in Doha overnight to take the morning plane and he was CC to take a taxi back to the airport in the morning. Gouda accommodations very clean good value."

"The hotel is basic but clean with good shower. Staff are largely good and it is good value for money with easy, quick access to the Metro. The major problem is the nightclub on floor 7, from 2200 - 0200hrs most nights. The building literally shakes and makes sleeping very difficult. "
