"Really everything about the hotel was excellent. The location is a short walk to the Villandry chateau. It is also an excellent location for people using bikes. There were a good number of thém parked on the grounds. With the heat we were looking for a place with air conditioning. This was one of the very few. It was relaxing and quiet. I arrived on my bicycle and was able to put it into the secure garden area onto which the entrance of the property opened. There is a nice seating area in the open fronted barn, which is perfect for a quiet drink.

"There are always a few small things (our cold tap barely worked) but overall, this hotel was brilliant. Staff were friendly, spa was really well appointed and treatments were both very good and reasonably priced. Its location right on the river and in the heart of a tiny but bustling little village is idyllic. Room was spacious, comfortable bed, all the necessary accessories. Highly recommended
