The Riad is on the edge of the medina which means it is quiet, but it is worth contacting the Riad when you first arrive, especially if it’s night time, to meet you at the nearest gate. They’re very happy to help! "

The breakfast is in a beautiful setting and the presentation is an art form with lots of selection. The room was spacious and beautifully done. At night, the Riad is quiet for sleeping. Riad Sidrat is an oasis from the bustling Medina. We highly recommend this Riad for your stay in Fès."

"The Riad is beautiful, traditional. The staff (Hassan and others) were extremely attentive. They even put together a care package for us since we needed to leave early in the morning. This is a quiet Riad in a residential part of the Medina but very close to everything the Medina offers. The food was delicious (although this is not a Riad with a proper restaurant and does not have a bar). Comfortable beds and good water pressure! Highly recommended."

Great rooftop relaxation area and view, super professional staff Fatima and Noureddine who arranged for private pick up from train station and a porter at the gate to carry my luggage and direct me straight to the hotel. "I loved my stay at Dar Hidaya! The riad is conveniently located off the main walkway and near the parking lot (since you cannot drive in the Medina), so it was less than 5 mins walk to grab a taxi/shuttle. The hosts were so welcoming and I felt right at home. The room and bed were very comfortable, as well as a good AC unit that was so nice after a day of walking around under the hot sun! I would highly recommend staying here for the friendliness, warm hospitality and I almost forgot to mention...

Déception sur le petit déjeuner : alors qu'il y a des orangers partout, et qu'on vous offre 2 oranges à votre arrivée, pas de jus d'orange frais au petit déjeuner, les oeufs sont trop cuits, peu de choix, 2 patisseries (cake vanille et cake chocolat ! aucune patisserie marocaine, quelle déception), pas de...

"Riad was overbooked. They placed us in a "sister" riad that was not as luxurious (3 stars vs 4 stars). They offered to comp us dinner but we had other plans. They did offer us 2 30-minute massages. Overall disappointed. I would not recommend."
