"We stayed for a night as a family of four , kids aged 6 and 10! I honestly Couldn’t fault a thing ! This was like staying in a 5 star hotel , so clean , staff were so kind , friendly and helpful . I would highly recommend for a family stay , so much to do for the kids , they will be entertained all day and the food was lovely too ! 10 out of 10 for us I will be booking two nights next time , can’t wait to go back !"

"GREAT gym. Rooms are fine, they have done a superficial redecoration but for instance the cupboards are old. Common areas modern and to high standard, Good breakfast. Free parking. 15min wallk to centre."

"Room were older but clean. Loved that there was parking in the back. Had a great Roasr dinner at the restaurant. Loved that we could walk to the castle and around the town. Wish we were able to stay longer in Kilkenny."

"Lovely stay at lord Beganals. The property is fabulous tastefully decorated and beautiful fresh flowers in the lobby. Staff are very friendly special mention to Karen and Kay breakfast team !! Food in restaurant also delicious and freshly prepared very efficient even though it was very busy Sleepy little village with lovely walk along the river If you want to make this place even more special consider adding a spa or pool. No matter we’ll be back 💚"

"Fast friendly check in. Location is excellent for walking around and exploring. Seems to cater to a pensioner tour group crowd. Easy parking garage across the street for 8 euro/day validated. Room and bed were huge by European standards. Mostly quiet, we heard some schoolkids passing through alley under our window. We didn't use fitness center, but it would be nice if we had more time. Enjoyed our stay!"
