The front desk staff was very friendly and at checkout, even took a few extra minutes to highlight something on our account. The breakfast area was clean (and had an automatic pancake maker, which I had never seen but thought was cool and practical); I even had a fun conversation with one of the employees who was restocking the breakfast...

"Such a lovely property! From the outside you wouldn't know what a gem it is. It isn't the Pfister and it's not perfect but it is a gem. The staff are wonderful and the vibe is classic. Excellent drinks in the bar, super yummy breakfast in cafe. Had a great king room on 7th floor. Big room, comfy bed. So many special and unique details!"
