"Room was perfect! The shower was so pleasant, enjoyed it every morning! The breakfast bufet excelled my expectations, a great variety of mexican and international options, butbtge highlight of it was the "cafe de olla" a mexican variation of cofee. The staff, very friendly and always trying to please us . Would I stay again? Withoutba doubt!!!"

"My wife and I would walk to parque fundidora and there’s a delicious taqueria right next to the hotel. Everything was clean and the shower was huge even with a little bench in it. "

"Our stay at the Barcelo was really nice. The breakfast buffet was open till noon which gave us extra time in the morning to grab a bite to eat. The food was excellent. Clean rooms, clean hotel. Pool area was nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. Awesome location. Would definitely stay again. "

"Nice fresh breakfast buffet every day.. The hotel was located next to a lot of facilities: a large HEB store and shopping center with a nice food court and several restaurants. Also a Mcdonalds, an OXXO grocery store, a starbucks, a taco restaurant, andother restaurants,all with a five minute walk. Also, though I did not go ,. there was a casino also about a two minute walk. I felt very safe and would surely stay at this hotel again. "

"This beautiful hostel with many renovated rooms, outdoor courtyard, colorful walls is so lovely! I could have stayed anywhere but the images I saw called to me and the reality did not disappoint! I hope the owners continue to monitor the viability of the mattresses snd perhaps offer a better cup of coffee. But the rainfall showers and hot water, coupled with the ambiance makes it is easy to recommend. Oh, and did I mention- this is the center of El Barrio Antiguo! Trece Lunas restaurant and...
