Hotels near Place de la Bastille Paris

"Here are the highlights. We were warmly greeted at the front desk (which is attended 24/7 and monitors the comings and goings into the lobby). After checking in, we took the elevator (big plus) to our floor. Our room was sparkling clean, surprisingly spacious, well-appointed and quiet. Don’t skip the gourmet breakfast (not just yogurt and croissants). Location (11th) is amazing, very walkable with fabulous cafes close by. Whether we needed a bottle of wine delivered, restaurant suggestion or...

"The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very tasty, fresh orange juice, fruit, yoghurt, scrambled eggs, coffee and bread and/or pastries. The location is superb, a 5 minute walk to Gare de Lyon."

"This beautiful property is located in the trendy Marais district, which is fun and upbeat. It's a terrific location for walking to so many of the attractions of Paris! Hotel staff was delightful and always ready to help with reservations or to make a recommendation or answer a question."

"Great location in the Marais. Our stay was absolutely wonderful, exceeding all expectations for a central Paris accommodation. The hotel manages to be both upscale and incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect base for exploring the city."

"This property was so French and wonderful. The staff was friendly and always helpful. The interior design was amazing in a wonderful contemporary French style. Breakfast was a wide spread of food that was prepared daily and had so many choices. The location of the property is fantastic. It is a short walk to Le Marais, the Seine and Notre Dame. I would recommend the 9Continental to all my friends and family!"

"I've stayed at a number of the 'big name" Parisian hotels over the past decades, but for my money, SO/Paris is a fresh, fun, young, hip and not stuffy alternative to the classic French hotel experience. The young and attentive staff could not be more pleasant and helpful. My wife and I were made to feel welcome at all times. The...

"What a wonderful Boutique hotel in a superb location in the Place des Vosges. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff was inspiring. Thank you for your superb hospitality and also for helping our friends out with temporary luggage storage."

"Well located on the quiet Ile St. Louis but still right in the heat of Paris, this hotel is ideal for visiting Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle, the Conciergerie, and all the sights in central Paris. At night the area has a village atmosphere, with quaint restaurants, shops and galleries."

"The hotel itself and the size of room are comparatively small, but that's normal for boutique hotel in Paris, the location is good behind in a small alley from the main avenue, very close to Gare De Lyon, the main station and Metro Thank to Afed, the night manager who has help us to locate a lost storage luggage and upgrade to a better room, prepared a BF for our early departure"

"I have stayed at the hotel a number of times, good sized rooms and really friendly staff. Great location for Gare de Lyon. Try Bistro de la Gare nearby. My go to Paris hotel"
