"We stayed one night on the way to the south of France. Hotel was perfect for a stopover. Very clean with lovely staff. Rooms are functional but bed was comfy and shower was hot. Excellent breakfast. We drove into Nevers and walked along the river. Filled with petrol at the local supermarket and ate at a pizza restaurant just down the road. "

"We had a very enjoyable stay at the Ibis Nevers. So close to the centre of the town, walkable and convenient. Parking was private and off road. Although the room was small and not soacious it was still comfortable and aircon was part of the room. Breakfast was lovely. All in all a lovely stay."

"Book with extreme caution; check-in only possible for 4 hours in the entire day from 1700-2100, which was not reflected in the email Booking receipt (only the small print in the Terms & Conditions, which aren’t accessible if your phone is in Flight Mode…). Management refused any kind of refund."

Restaurant was good - majority of diners seem to be single people probably on business trips. Room was very small but also quiet. No lift so might be unsuitable for clients who have mobility issues. Strange that there is a notice in the room about paying for any glasses you might steal! Maybe reflects a poor experience on their...

"It was better than we expected. The 1 BR apartment we booked was as spacious as a vacation home. The kitchen was also very well equipped. The bathroom could yuse a couple of hooks to hang the towels and a shelf by the sink for toiletries. But for one night stay, it was great. We didn't try the breakfast and so cannot comment on that."
