"We just had a great stay at Kata Bai D in Phuket. Besides the very good location, the cleanliness and the unbeatable price (low season), the owner Sam is the main reason for our pleasent experience there. He always helped us alot with organizing all sort of things (airport pick-up, sights and restaurant recommendations...) and just made us feel welcome. "Great staff. Nice location far enough from the hubbub of Kata but close enough to walk to the beach. Rooms are clean and airy. All have balconies. Very nice family-run Turkish joint close by and a very good Italian place at Autogrill."

"Nice big room, big bed, nice friendly staff with good house cleaning and the water in the pool was nice and clear plus there is a good view from the rooftop pool. It was a 20 minute walk to get to the beach and main road."
