Im assuming because not much around there. It cost about $60 CND per day to take the train return into Hiroshima. This is the only way to get there. No bus available only the Bullet train. "Worst night of my life. There was an alarm bell going off 5 times during the night, so I hardly had any sleep at all. When I finally gave up and left at 5am, there was nobody in the reception, otherwise I would have demanded a full refund."
