They had a bad tornado a week before so things were still being cleaned up from that. Ate at Dexters Bbq and it was fabulous.

It seems to be a nice community with a variety of businesses for its size. We did go to the movie theatre the one night we were there. The theatre is really nice and fairly new.

Seemed like a small town but things were easy to get to and plentiful. It wasn't a stop off an interstate in the middle of BFE with no food or store options.

It is a small town that has all the basics. Good place to spend the night.
"It was a great place to stay. Even though a casino is attached to the hotel, it seemed like we were in a nice secluded area of Cape Girardeau. Everything was like new and very nice. Even had a Starbucks so we were able to get a refreshment before we got back on the road. The only down side was that it was about five miles from the interstate but it was a minor inconvenience. Would love to stay there again. "
"Got there earlier than planned so room wasn't ready when we returned we got an upgrade to a suite which was beautiful the bed was amazing. We enjoyed the pool & hot tub we were surprised by the snacks and drinks. Breakfast was more than you could eat. Staff was top notch. Can't wait to stay again"
"The staff and room were nice. I did not like that they actually took a deposit out of my account and put it back instead of just held it like other hotels I've been at."
