This was a wonderful place to stay! It was about a 40-minute walk to the city center, but there is a bus stop right outside and it was very quick to go downtown that way if you don't have a car. There are hiking paths in the huge park nearby and an excellent restaurant across the street serving Slovenian cuisine. Can be noisy, as people singing on the street at 3am, but this is downtown, expect some of that. Quite good breakfast spread, not just breads.
