We loved the close proximity to the Bass Harbor Lighthouse and the quiet, wooded location of our cabin. We had every amenity we could want in this beautiful little cabin! Highly recommended— would definitely book a stay there again!
This is a new property. The rooms are sized generously. Parking is either below the building or across the street. The location is great with restaurants and coffee shops across the street. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely stay here again.
We had a lovely stay at the Sand Bar Cottage. The location was perfect. Chris and his staff were very professional and pleasant. Our room & bathroom were spacious. Our only negative comment would be that we did not receive housekeeping every day. The bed was never made up nor was the trash removed, at a minimum. The room fees were upwards of $425/per night. Housekeeping should be provided.
This apartment is beautiful. It looks as if it were just finished a week ago. Check in and check out are effortless. Hosts communicated effectively and provided great local tips. This is truly a gem. Kitchen was will stocked even though we didn't use it. Everything there you need to cook for a large family. Nicest accomodations on our entire trip. We would stay again. Don't miss out.
The Inn was beautiful, excellent location and wonderful breakfast. Room was lovely and everything was very clean and welcoming. I would definitely stay there again when back in Bar Harbor
We LOVED this inn. It's a perfect location--right on the Bay, free parking, and a very close walk to restaurants and shopping. The house is beautiful--the rooms are comfortable, quiet, clean, etc. Breakfast was wonderful--sitting on the deck and having them bring a fresh made meal to you. We will definitely come back again.
We stayed 2 nights at the Highbrook, Sept. 14th & 15th. The room was large and spotless, and had been recently renovated. The location was perfect for visiting Acadia and the Town of Bar Harbor. The free shuttle buses stop at the hotel. The breakfast was very good, it included Breakfast Sandwiches, Oatmeal, Bagels, Muffins, Eggs, Yogurt, Bananas, Orange Juice, Coffee, Hot Chocolate and Condiments of all types. We would definitely stay here again.
The staff was amazing and oh so super helpful.
When I arrived to check into my room, I was informed that my confirmation email and their booking did not match up!! The woman at the front desk was amazing and the owner was called. To make sure I got a room for the weekend, she pulled some strings and got me a room in the motel next door! I’m still in shock. People are amazing!
The room was big and comfortable, all amenities needed, breakfast was delicious!! Such a nice experience, like home but with hotel amenities!
The only thing I would suggest is a full length mirror , there was none in the room and us ladies need that!
Had a comfortable stay for 2 days during New Year’s! Very clean and friendly staff who were willing to go above and beyond to help with our requests. Beautiful views - highly recommend!
The Ivy Manor Inn was a great find for us. We were greeted in the lot by Orville who was happy to help with our bags and lead us our check in where two glasses of bubbly were poured as we got our key and moved into our spacious and very comfortable first floor room. Breakfast was plenty for two people on the go. Don't pass up the blueberry muffins. Seriously. The live music (2-5) on the lawn was an unexpected treat as well with beer and drinks available followed by fire pits in the evenings. The...
Wonderful experience! Recommending to all our family and friends. Sauna was great, our friends enjoyed the sauna to cold plunge experience. Bathrooms were clean, did not feel at all like a camping shower. Not a lot of restaurants nearby, though knowing that, we had brought charcuterie board provisions and wine/glasses to enjoy our beautiful dome and fire pit/ grills allow for full experience. Customer service was great, quick text responses answered all our questions. Hiking paths would be a...
A great Inn. A little bit of a walk to Bar Harbor (about three quarters of a mile) but much quieter. Acadia entrance about a mile. Breakfast very good, staff and cleaning very good. Very happy with our hotel choice.
