The only minor negative point was that where we stayed (CV Motor Lodge) is a separate building from parent company Carson Valley Inn/Casino, and we needed to go to the registration area of Carson Valley Inn to get our room card keys for CV Motor Lodge, which was ~quarter mile away."

"This hotel did exactly what we needed it to do. We actually arrived way earlier than check-in time, and they fortunately checked and had a room available so they allowed us to check in about 2.5 hours early!
The room was spacious and fairly comfortable. Had a keurig and fridge, although the fridge door wouldn’t stay closed but it wasn’t a huge issue for us. I did make sure to tell the desk at checkout so they could fix it.
