We had a little confusing in the check in but it was worked out. I had read that the breakfast was great, however, we are vegetarians so i thought we wouldn't get to eat. When we entered the dining area we talked with the owners who make all the food themselves. They were able to make our order vegetarian. It was the most amazing breakfast ever. The blueberry crumble muffins and the breakfast burritos were unbelievable.
OTGH is wonderful. The room was delightful, spacious and nicely fitted. There was a private patio out the back and the front faced into a courtyard with a fountain. The breakfasts were all delicious - no options but different every day. Endless coffee helped! Location is on the edge of town but easy to get to anywhere. I will definitely return. N
Great staff, lovely hotel, and superb breakfast. We loved being in the middle of the meadows of the Philmont Scout Ranch in the shadow of the Tooth of Time mountain. Greeted by a herd of antelope and lots of other wildlife and a sea of wild sunflowers. Hummingbirds entertained us as we sat in the courtyard. We also enjoyed meeting the other guests.
Enjoyed a 2 night stay to visit the area and friends. Hotel was remodeling but did not hear any noise. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Room was newly remodeled and was very clean. would stay again if in Taos again. great location for our needs. Close to town and attractions.

Newly renovated older motel on the main highway into Taos, New Mexico. Excellent renovation. Spacious shower in beautifully tiled bathroom. One possible issue for some guests: very soft beds which might not suit persons with back problems. Best price in town on the date I stayed.
This is a very quaint older motel with a true feel of New Mexico. We stayed in the king suite with a fireplace. The staff was attentive. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.
The morning southwest breakfast is included and delicious. The two people who prepare the breakfast are wonderful. The ground of the motel are great and in warmer weather would be an ideal place to hang out. Though there is construction on the main road at the location of the...
A clean, well-appointed summer stay with attentive service and morning wildlife views—just be aware that cabins sit fairly close to one another, though window coverings help maintain privacy inside.
The place was clean and relaxing. The young man at the front desk , Dave, was extremely kind and helpful. We were to arrive at 7pm due to circumstances with travel we could not be there until past 9pm. Dave was on the phone with me several times to reassure me not to worry that he would wait for me, past he working shift, to give me my room keys and show me to my suite. He even helped carry myluggage!!!!
Thank you for the amazing staff and the great accommidations!!
