The hotel is located at the heard of Jaffa flea market, the hottest most hipster area of tel aviv. The hotel atmosphere and design are very Jaffa-y (I was living in Jaffa for 8 years) and give you a very authentic experience of the area.

I had a very enjoyable stay here again at the Joseph Hotel. It was Rosh Hashana and I was invited to join in a very special meal with many displaced people from the North.

We had a very small issue with our laundry but, the manager Talia Yedid-levi was very accommodating and fully refunded the fee for our laundry. The Shenkin is within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and great shopping. The staff was warm, friendly and very helpful in making our tour reservations to Golan Heights and making sure our needs were met. Since our tour left very early in the morning, they packed breakfast for us to take on our trip. The garden cafe was a nice place for refreshments and relaxing after a day of exploring the city.
