"Capella Cruise was the highlight of our honeymoon! If I could put 10 stars for staff and service I would. Even though the weather was not the most ideal, we enjoyed and felt so special during our stay. The room was clean and the views of the bay OMG, it felt like out of a movie. "Trip from the wharf on the tender (boat big enough to fit 40 or so people) took about 40 minutes to get out to the boat moored out in Halong Bay. Had set menu lunch and dinner tasting menu food was good. Room was comfortable and air conditioning worked well. Bathroom nice with porthole window in the shower. Activities were good including kayaking, squid fishing and visit to cave. Favourite activity for the family was the karaoke. Pool

"Great cruise option for Ha Long Bay! This one was on the pricier side when looking at options, but you definitely get what you pay for here! We saw some of the other cruise options from Expedia docked when we boarded and felt VERY relieved we had chosen Hermes. The staff were lovely and very accommodating! Overall Ha Long Bay is a tourist destination so keep expectations open, it’s definitely not like the incredible pictures in advertisements (trash everywhere!) "

"Beautiful hotel and convenient location. Room had sea view. The property is well kept and maintained. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The breakfast buffet had excellent food selections to choose from but pricy. The only thing I would recommend improving on were the quality and tastes of the dinner dishes. The seafood was not fresh as I expected from a seaside town and the steak and pepper sauce were cold. The tastes needs to justify for the price. I would recommend...

"Fabulous staff, wonderful trip. Tat was a great host, very sweet. Our butler Annie was lovely. The room was tired and really need updating however the private balcony was great! The most disappointing thing was the spa. It wasn’t accessible via the top deck bar area and you can’t see anything when sitting in the spa. Also on day 2 it was green!! Awful, we didn’t go in on day 2. Good on the buffet each meal was really good. The day trip to the village was great! "
