The hotel setting is one of a kind. It's a very old fortress that was converted to a beautiful 4 stars hotel. Everything was done to provide all the comfort you would expect from a luxurious hotel while maintaining the structure intact. It has great character and beautiful and tasteful decoration. The view from the windows is great as well. It is in a walking distance from all the attractions of this small town. The breakfast was superb as everything else in the hotel.

This was easily the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. From the thoughtful and attentive staff to the beautiful property to the clean rooms, this place has it all. We felt well taken care of the entire stay and enjoyed all of the complimentary items provided by the hotel. It was so peaceful and allowed us to enjoy our time in San Sebastián that much more. The property is clean and the bar off the lobby was really great. The location is a bit out of the city center, which was perfect for us as we had a car. Parking was easy in the street which was surprising as it was a holiday weekend. Staff super helpful with getting taxi's into the center. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing visit to San Sebastian.
