An excellent little hotel next to cute cafes, it’s also a super easy walk from the bus and train stations that eliminates the need for a taxi. The hotel setting is one of a kind. It's a very old fortress that was converted to a beautiful 4 stars hotel. Everything was done to provide all the comfort you would expect from a luxurious hotel while maintaining the structure intact. It has great character and beautiful and tasteful decoration. The view from the windows is great as well. It is in a walking distance from all the attractions of this small town. The breakfast was superb as everything else in the hotel.

The hotel was great, excellent location close to the centre of the village and right on the beach. Rooms were roomy, staff excellent and the day spa was the big bonus. Unlimited use of the indoor pool which opened up onto the ocean beach.
La Frégate feels like a weathered beach lodge. It is clean and comfortable and the ocean view (and constant sound of the waves) is everything!
