Nice laid back and relaxed atmosphere. Can wake up to the sounds of the waves and spend some time by the water. We were able to see the northern lights from right outside of our hut. A fair price for lodging and an amazing experience.
My stay was very comfortable. Beds were comfy, however could use extra pillows, and towels. Loved that there is a lift available incase you have problems with stairs. Location is quiet and somewhat in an industrial area, but there is a grocery store nearby which is walkable. I do suggest having a car to get around. All in all, a good stay.
The staff was friendly and welcoming in both the hotel and restaurant. The included breakfast had a very tasty and wide selection of options, which was great way to fuel up before our outdoor adventures

We stayed here two nights before a group tour and then one night after. It’s the perfect location in the center of everything. It is conveniently located to multiple bus stops for tour pickups and the Fly bus. There is a good breakfast in the morning. Also, I liked that you can go to their other locations. We used our free drink coupon at the Sky Bar on the 8th floor at their waterfront location. Rooms are small, but to be expected. It was perfect for just a couple nights to be close to...
Located in a quiet little town, but still nearby everything you want to do on Iceland’s SE side. The owner is a great person with a very warm heart, and also a very talented artist. The breakfast was just what we needed to save a little cash in one of the most expensive places We’ve ever been. Not a lot of services in the town, but if you want a relaxing stay...I had it droves!
The only thing I did not like was the church bell across the street that rings every 15 minutes, but the hotel provides ear plugs. They were a great help.
My husband, son (1 year), and I stayed here in November. The studio had a wonderful bathroom with a towel warmer! Believe me, you will want it. Great kitchenette and comfy beds. Elli and Runa were amazing. Before our arrival. They already checked to see when we will arrive to prepare the place. Since we were arriving early. They graciously took in our luggages so we can go to the lagoons and enjoy the day without having to have our car full of luggages.
The place was exceptionally clean with all kinds of goodies. Very close to the airport within 5 minutes. We truly enjoyed our stay there. We will definitely book with them again if we return to Iceland.
