Mevagissey Bay Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed for 2 nights at the hotel and enjoyed the stunning views over the bay. Our room was immaculately clean and spacious, it had a selection of teas and coffee with a kettle, there were ample towels (including massive bath sheets!). There was plenty to choose from for breakfast, fruit, cereal, juices, delicious homemade granola and a selection of freshly cooked hot options, the full Cornish breakfast was fantastic. Sam and Roy were perfect hosts and helped direct us to local attractions. We spent time in Mevagissey and also Portmellon beach, both just a short (but steep! ) walk away. We enjoyed an evening meal at the hotel which was freshly cooked and absolutely delectable. Sitting out on the veranda in the evening, looking out at the bay, was so calm and peaceful. I have already recommended the hotel of friends and would definitely go back when in the area."
The Waterwheel Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Stayed for 3 nights, everything was very clean, easy check in & given a quick guided tour, room was very clean & comfortable with coffee making facilities and a nice powerful warm shower. Didn't eat in the restaurant but cooked breakfast was very good, made to your specification, with cereals & toast also available. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Lovely tropical gardens with a stream running through which are nice for a wander. would certainly recommend."
Holiday Inn Express Bodmin - Victoria Junction by IHG
8/10 Good
"The location is great and there are shops and gasoline station just beside it. There is an ample parking space however, because it is around a junction, it is better to have a parking reserve. The hotel has a small restaurant inside to dine in. At breakfast, they have a machine where you can make your own pancake. It is quiet despite a busy road nearby. Staffs were so friendly and accommodating. I also like the fact that the hotel is geared on recycling, controlling waste, earth friendly materials and promoting cornwalls produce."
Rashleigh Arms

"Staff Friendly and attentive, bar well stocked, rooms were clean and car park big but very bumpy with it's cobbled surface."
