"Lovely peaceful hotel. Great breakfast. The service was good, even driving suitcase down to the ferry, to save having to carry it, which I really appreciated."

"Highly recommended! A warm welcome and presentation of the location and our room. Helpful with our bags. Nicely decorated, design and colours. Flowers lovely too. Food was delicious and many great GF safe options. Guest areas (lounge and entrance) were large and inviting."

"Located between Craignure and Fionnphort on the Isle of Mull. Situated by the road looking onto the sea. The Inn is a popular place to eat as the restaurant was busy. The owner showed us our room which was large, clean, tidy and warm. The super king sized bed was comfortable, shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. The room was quiet even though the restaurant was busy. The breakfast is self service, £10 per person, and it does take a while to find where everything is but once sorted it is adequate. If you can’t make the last ferry to Iona then this is the perfect place to spend the night."

"Very large and filling breakfast. Plenty of space for all guests staying there. Hospitable and friendly hosts. It is a lovely place and would not hesitate to book again."

"Couldn’t fault the property or the staff. The amenities are as best as you could expect in such a small island. Manager was very helpful and chatty I would recommend the Colonsay Hotel for shorts stays , not because there is anything wrong with it , the staff , ir the island but it is a small island and there is only so much you can do. Beaches are stunning and so is the walk across The Strand to the Isle of Oransay"
