A lovely resort. We were only there for two nights so we stayed in the hotel.
The property is lovely to wander around and we took advantage of the outdoor patios. Each floor had a washing machine and dryer, also equipped with an ice maker and sink. It was unclear at the time if we had to pay for the use of the pool (we didn't), but it seems to be based on what package you've purchased.
We ate at the Cruize restaurant on site and everyone loved their dishes!

After my friends came down with sickness and couldn’t host us anymore I was worried about a backup plan the day off on a busy weekend. The Woodhouse was available at a fair price! It’s cute, cozy, has great views, is very walkable and has a great atmosphere! The breakfast for £7 more was well worth it! The people who own and run this are amazing! So kind and helpful! Will be staying again even if my family is healthy!
Amazing experience all around. Keith was kind, generous, and welcoming. Highly recommend staying here. Clean rooms that look out onto a beautiful garden. Delicious warm breakfast served with fresh orange juice and fruit. I’ll be back next time I’m in Largs.
Quiet setting next to a golf course. Attentive staff. The room {#2} was very large as was the bathroom. It was a bit dated but still pleasant. Great golf course.
Very large modern room, comfortable for families. Good sized bathroom and shower and hair dryer in the room. There is a nice restaurant downstairs, but also several restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Also good parking at the hotel.
The hotel was perfect—an easy walk to University of Glasgow/, Hunterian Museum, Kelvingrove and lots of dining options. Breakfast at Soul Food downstairs was AMAZING! However we did learn that many places do not serve food inside in the afternoon. It seems to be a combination of local custom and worker shortages coming back from Covid. Just because a pub or cafe website says it is open or that it serves food all day, doesn’t mean it’s true (May, 10-12, 2022). And while a food truck or take away...
Property seemed very nice, though the picture advertised is a”wee” bit different. Hotel looks lovely inside but had a weird dam smell in the hallways. Like many hotels in Europe - NO AC which is rough, but they did bring up a small fan. Surrounding area is cute with little shops, bars and cafes and seemed cleaner - less graffiti and more “Kept up” than central Glasgow. They obviously need to spend more money to clean it up and its reminds me of some crappy areas in Manhattan that have bend let...
Very friendly staff from all parts of the team (restaurant, bar and hotel). Extremely clean and comfortable with a view to being eco-friendly. The restaurant for breakfast, lunch & dinner was high quality & value with a variety of choices.
Had a small problem with logging onto the Wi-Fi at one point and seemed to be a little slow, but not really a big deal.
