Took a week-long trip with my girlfriend in late July 2015 and stayed in the oceanfront room.
Grounds/staff: The grounds are extremely well-kept and every single member of the staff is incredibly polite and friendly. The ambiance is highly relaxing and extremely quiet; not what my girlfriend and I were expecting in Jamaica, but isn't necessarily a bad thing. The mosquitoes became a bit bothersome, but the hotel made every effort to prevent this by 'fogging' the lower area of the resort twice...
This was our first time in Jamaica. Friends told us about the Negril Treehouse and we absolutely loved it. The rooms were clean, with great tv's (not that you need one but Ohio State championship was that week and we got to watch in room or in the lobby on a big screen). The restaurant and beach bar were very good (just don't expect service like in states, they are on Jamaican time, slow or slower) but staff and bartenders were all very pleasant. We booked next year on the third day in.
This was a great choice for me. I felt very safe, everybody asked how I was each day. The staff and vendors were friendly but not overbearing.
The room was spotless!!! Beds comfy, great TV with American channels.
The onsite restaurant was good with a limited menu but everything I had was very good.
Loved it. Worth every penny. Locals are friendly, it’s like a part of the island to yourself. A must do if you aren’t a fan of resorts. Massage was one of the best I’ve had and I’m a massage therapist. When I say clean, I mean clean. Not a dust particle in sight, just a lovely experience from the moment we touched down.
First off the staff Is first rate... They helped me in so many ways...from booking a scooter from gas.. To calling my tour bus to arrange my ride home and everything in between..Just don't be afraid to ask... Even the maids and the yard men are extremely friendly... Strike up a conversation and you will have a friend for your stay that will help you with whatever you may need.. The food and drinks as well as the bartenders and waitresses were awesome... You have to try the club sandwich and have...
I go to Jamaica almost every year and stay at different resorts. I find this resort to be great for the price. They even accommodated me to a room on the ground level because I have trouble with stairs. All the staff were pleasant and always asked if they could help you in anyway. The food was good and I know some reviews state differently. You have to realize people come from all over the world and trying to please everyone would be impossible. I know tipping is not mandatory but they work so...
This is a small resort but central clean and on the beach. The beach area is a public space so there is the inconvenience of husslers approaching you but that really wasn't a big issue. There is a nice coffee shop. I didn't eat there but it is convenient for bars and resteraunts nearby. Bit difficult to find the entrance gate, but the gate keeper and reception were 24 hours for me despite the website saying 10pm. I would say value for money.
We were the first guest ever to arrive at the resort on the adult side and they treated us like celebrities. I really enjoyed the food the food was bomb and yes I am black. I loved the buffet when I went home I missed the buffet that’s the best part and everything is all inclusive. Me & My Lady came in mid March & it was absolutely beautiful, as soon as we arrived we were greeted & taking care of. Rooms clean, nice pools, beautiful scenery. The staff here was amazing. Mr Parchment was very nice & helped tremendously.
The area around is nice, kinda separated from the town a little bit, but if you coordinate with the staff members they will surely take care of you in transportation.

Perfect stay, but with the mixture of heat and air conditioning it causes the floor to get slippery which caused me to fall down a flight of stair. Other than that it’s a great experience.
