We chose Hotel Val Vert for its location between Provence and Paris. We arrived fairly late and were able to have a lovely dinner right next door at a steakhouse. The room was very simple, clean and accommodating for 4 adults. The breakfast was amazing and we were so glad we chose to have it! A full buffet with many lovely and delicious items. The staff was super helpful and spoke English, which was a help for us.
We would most definitely stay again should our travels take us to the area.
Comfortable. Spacious room. Excellent service. Bar never closes. Great value. Far from the noisy streets but yet close to it all. The landscaping around the courtyard is extremely beautiful and meticulously taken cared of. I was really impressed by the service and attentive personnel. Be back again.
Everything was very clean and the receptionist Sylvie was very helpful. Unfortunately, Beaune did not have any buses on Saturday or Sunday, until June 1so I had to walk all the way from the town and back again to the train the next day !!
Book here if you want a good value in a great location. The hotel is clean and efficient. There is even a hidden peek at 5th century Roman ruins in the garage. We loved our stay there.
Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Room was spacious and comfortable, nice breakfast buffet, convenient to the old part of town and to the train station. Even tried their spa (part of the package) and it was fun-- we used the pool, special showers, steam room and sauna. Would definitely stay here again.
Will stop here again, just 5 min from the hospice of Beaune, with an EV recharging station, a full restaurant and a pool.
My parents will be staying there next week and their trip back from the south of France to Metz.
The B&B HOTEL Dijon Valmy Toison d'Or is a recent hotel (about a year old). While the accomodations are simple, the level of cleanliness is quite high. The room I stayed in was immaculate and cleaned thoroughly daily. A bit Spartan in terms of decoration, but reasonably comfortable bedding and excellent black out curtains. Breakfast was simple: standard breakfast items were offered. As for the location, the hotel was ideally situated for me on the outskirts of Dijon in a very modern, new area...
