"We had a problem with our booking due to cancelled flights and the duty manager was so helpful. We asked for a quiet room and indeed the room overlooking the courtyard was very peaceful. The room as always was spotless and the bedding crisp and fresh. Loved the eco friendly toiletries too. Would thoroughly recommend City Lodge at O R Tambo."

"Excellent hotel in Sandton, close to everything you need and with a shuttle. Staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my visit.
Only downside - you are advised not to walk around after dark and even get an uber late at night on the dark streets felt a little sketchy.
If I am in Johannesburg I would stay here again."

"I solo traveled here from my birthday all the way from the United States. My card had been locked into their ATM. No one did anything about it. I had no way to eat on another occasion. I booked a private transfer because I was flying to Botswana. No one came for me after I paid most staff were very ignorant. There were a few staff. They were very very nice to me and I the only reason I’m given is Hotel a two star.. "
