We had such a great experience. Room had the views of the lake and the mountains - out of this world. Every member of the staff was courteous, helpful, as well as very knowledgeable. The free smart car that the hotel provides makes the stay even more frictionless. The food at the restaurant was also awesome. We went ala carte and it was as excellent as tasting menu. Great location in Laveno. Our room faced the water and made for great sunsets. Nice bed and bathroom. The staff was pleasant. Parking was easy and we were only a few minutes from town and the ferry. The on-site restaurant is excellent. Breakfast, for a fee, was worth it.
Checked in real late and had a hard time finding it even thru the GPS from the car rental. Staff was very nice and helpful and friendly. Super nice pool and sauna area. Room was very cozy and clean. Bed was big and clean.

Older building, not too large by modern standards, nice elegant rooms. Just beautiful downstairs areas. Large breakfast room with terrace overlooking the lawns and one main restaurant. Access to Spa and indoor pool included. Outdoor pool among the gardens. One day a guest's 1960 Ferrari parked out the back with the top down - just like that ! One night tango dancing on the hotel...
Staff was very accommodating, courteous, and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Stayed a week and it felt like home! Large pool, and gym. Which were clean and very usuable. There was a horse track across the street, but it was not loud and it did not dictract me from my sleep.
