Hotel Marta was in the perfect location! Walking distance from the train and right near all the restaurants and stores. It was still very quiet in the room at night. The room was small and minimalistic but we didn’t spend much time in the room so it was fine.The staff was very friendly and helpful, they let us check in prior to official time. The breakfast was vegetarian; yogurt, toast, cereals, fruit, etc. I would definitely recommend hotel Marta!

Truly wonderful location! Great to have a tram stop right in front, but also was an easy and beautiful walk over the footbridge crossing the Limmat and through the Platzspitz park to the Hauptbahnhof. We found this room to be better than we expected. It had four beds for my family with two adult children, but little seating. Staff were friendly. Great location close to old town. We actually had an amazing view of the river. My only issue: I thought I was booking a room that included breakfast and when I arrived I found out that breakfast, while in the hotel, does cost extra... a lot extra. Fortunately there were a couple of little shops close by where we were able to get snacks. There...

It's hard to believe that an "older" hotel in the middle of Zurich can feel so updated and elegant. I don't know if they remodeled recently, but every square inch seemed spotless. As one of the Rick Steves recommended hotels, the staff and facilities were outstanding. This will be our "go to" hotel if we get back to Zurich.
