We stayed for our annual anniversary trip and as always, the resort did not disappoint. Ordered take out from KC Pepper, food was delicious and portions were big. The staff is always so welcoming. The property is perfect for a quick getaway, so peaceful. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Can’t wait to book again for next year!
The property is neat and clean because of Sue( Manager of B& B) she is very client oriented and makes your stay special. It smells delightful, pet friendly, is decorated for the holidays, always snacks available! Sue made my trips through Honesdale comfortable & pleasant ….my only comment ( neg) - I have stayed in room 4 for the past 3 years. The only available outlet ( the one adjacent to bathroom doesn’t work, the other outlets are inaccessible) is over the sink and operated by the wall...

I took my son skiing to Elk Mountain and booked a room for one night. I was very happy with all aspects of the Hotel. Room was clean and in great condition, not run down at all. Roomy well appointed, functional. I had supper at their restaurant; chicken parmesan. Service was so fast I hardly had time to eat the free bread roll. The salad was fresh but a bottle dressing. The Lakelyn Lodge in Lakeville PA is a newly renovated hotel with a fabulous eye to detail and with great finishing touches. We were extremely pleased with the attention to our needs and the attentiveness of the owners. It was a top notch experience from start to finish. The Hotel was very quanit. It is an old building which made it very interesting as far as history. I would have liked an elevator only due to my husbands issue with MS. There also were no handicap parking spaces and you had to pay a meter. Overall the Hotel was very nice and the staff was great. They were always there to help.
The restaurant and bar are fabulous, including the staff. They both deserve a full 5-star rating. The weekday we were there, both were crowded. The lobby and our room, although very clean, need attention, especially the carpet. We would love to dine there again and hope they pay more attention to the deficiencies in the lobby and Room 1.
