"Above all, the staff make the Duke of Richmond a lovely stay. They are genuinely friendly and service is impeccable. I cannot praise the staff high enough!!
The hotel itself is lovely and the room we had was extremely spacious and well equipped... even with writing paper, staples, post its etc. We were greeted with iced biscuits and a handwritten welcome note. The beds were comfortable and the shower pressure was excellent.
My son loved the heated pool which he used every day.
Breakfast was plentiful and cooked to order.
The hill to get here from town is a big one and factored in to how we planned our days out. It also meant that by the time we returned we couldn't face heading down the hill again for dinner so took the convenient option of dining in the restaurant. This worked well and the food was delicious.
All in all a great stay and we'd stay here again if in the area. "

The hotel is in a gorgeous quiet spot surrounded by trees with beautiful gardens. It's conveniently located for St. Peter Port, either to walk the cliff path or use local buses.
I have coeliac disease and the care taken with making sure I had gluten free food was very good, I really appreciate this.
We enjoyed the Mexican restaurant which is open Tuesday to Saturday. There are three restaurants in all; two open each day. Breakfasts were exceptional; lots of choice and freshly prepared. "

"The property is immaculate,quiet and extremely comfortable.Room service is impeccable,staff are helpful and nothing is too much trouble.Eating in the restraint is a joy to behold,the menu is varied and extremely tempting.breakfast is delicious to start the day.from in house toast and pastries,to fish and full English etc.the only thing I thought would be a great addition would be a mini bar in the room..overall.a wonderful place to stay,in my opinion. 10/10"
