Think of Space as a hostel in a hotel setting - clean and comfortable rooms, with nice mattresses, multiple outlets right at your bed, and a large locker. Modern designs for rooms and shared spaces that are well kept. Only downsides are that wifi is only in the lobby and pretty weak. You've got a bunch of people down there trying to use wifi but nobody is socializing. Location is pretty good - walking distance to everything in CBD and Fitzroy, being that it's between the two. Right at the edge...

Love this place. Room was a little small for 2 beds but had a frig and TV. Bathrooms were shared but big, clean and hot water. This place could use an elevator as there are some flights of stairs to hike especially if you have a lot or heavy bags. ideal location that is close to everything you could want or need in the CBD. only down side was my room was on the allley side of the bldg so at about 12 midnite to 3 am there were the ground floor bars/restaurants dumping their booze bottles...
